13th World Summit Nobel Peace Laureates

Under the patronage of UNESCO and the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, EMMA for Peace is officially launched at the 13th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Warsaw, Poland, with a series of inaugural concerts and workshops throughout the duration of the Summit.

EMMA for Peace presents its inaugural concert, entitled Summit Serenade.  The serenades of Penderecki and Tchaikovsky will greet the opening of the summit, performed by the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and conducted by John Axelrod. The concert is produced in collaboration with CultureAll and the 13th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates.

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia and with the generous support of the SOS Talents Foundation and Askaneli Brothers, EMMA for Peace presents Georgian pianist Elisso Bolkvadze in recital, alongside two young Lithuanian talents, Kasparas Mikuzis (12 years old) and Milda Daunoraite (12 years old).

A conversation and interactive workshop on the role of music and education in peace-building with some of the protagonists of the cultural and institutional world. EMMA for Peace brings together the Nobel Peace Laureates, representatives from international organizations and educators and artists from both Europe and the Arab world.
